Why is it not called a suckjob?

 

I want to catch lake Murray crayfish crawdads what ever they're the size of lobsters

 

Why does crawfish end in fish, no other shellfish does

 

And why shellfish?, maybe originally it was shelled fish and people slanged it and dropped the ed

 

I wish I had more people to cook for. Most of my friends are too busy, far away, or lack taste buds.

There's this medicine commercial for 'Linzess' - the spokeslady's voice over says "Linzess should not be given to children under 6, and should not be given to children ages 6 to under 18."

Why not just say not to give it to anyone under 18?

I wrote a while back about Applebee's using AC/DC's Back in Black, and now they're using the Cheers theme song and John Sebastian's 'Welcome Back' to promote their mediocre food. Those royalty licenses cost a good amount of money. Why not use those resources to make the food better?

Sorry (not sorry), but Applebee's food is only reasonably palatable at best - your local 'Mom 'n Pop diner would be better.

When you hear a commercial for some drug and they tell you not to take it if you have alergic reactions to it. How the fuck are you supposed to know that until you take it?
Good grief.

 

Yesterday’s Indy race had to be the most boring of all time. It was like they were all social distancing. What ever happened to 3 or 4 wide going int the corner. Most of the race they just followed each other about 40 feet apart. And so many ads!

 

I immediately give a low mark to movies that start out with an action sequence and then stop - with a card that says 'Three (or six... or whatever - months or minutes) Earlier" are just lazy screenwriting - although I admit some still work if the movies turns out to be good. It's just typically a lazy 'hack' way of launching yourself into a story without taking the time to build the story from the ground up - introduce your characters on the fly doing something else, and then introduce the plot at hand.

But that's just me - I have short patience with that convention.

 

I love the comic to movie trend being so big now. You gotta suspend disbelief to enjoy any science fiction. However, at one point I draw the line. Always wearing masks, but never have to repeat themselves? Bullshit. lol
