Excess breast milk that isn't expressed is more likely to cause breast cancer than over milking.

 

I hooked up myself to one, once, and the damn thing had no OFF switch, called the manufacturer of the machine to ask them how to turn it off and they said:
- The machine has a sensor and will swich off itself once the 2 gallon jug is filled up.

45minutes is NOT that long. the one time i got my son to latch... he nursed for over three and a half hours. and us mothers know... babies are experts at getting milk out... much better than any machine.

I do realize you are pointing out a dairy farm pump isnt made for human females.....but understand as shes a mother she wont do something to ruin that bond.
